CES2019, and the prediction lives on, this time with proof of a video teaser of the upcoming render. As it happens, Samsung indeed has big plans for its forthcoming Galaxy S10 device – its battery and fast charging capabilities.

Samsung released a brief 25-seconds video tease about battery upgrades that the upcoming Galaxy S10 will pack. The video which was captured by a keen tipster, Ice Universe, began by first highlighting previous achievements before they teased the new upgrades they’ve made on the 2019 flagship tier. The video tease finished by a highlight,
“Because you deserve more.“
The phrase itself was a big hint, considering the phone maker, decided to use it right after; showing us a fast-charging battery. Moreover, several leaks are already claiming that; Samsung’s Galaxy S10 range will ship with batteries that are going to deliver the teased capabilities. And according to Ice Universe; Samsung is using the video tease to confirm that the news leaks are something to go by.
According to a report, the new Galaxy S10 will get an upgrade of 500mAh, from its predecessor, so it’ll have approximately 3500mAh. The Galaxy S10 Plus will also have a jump of 500mAh to reach 4000mAh; making it one of the most durable premium smartphone you’ll get in the market. On the other hand, the charging speeds of these handsets will be increased from the current; 15-Watt to a record 22.5-Watt
The anticipated 25.2-Watt powerful charger
Two days ago, Slashleaks published an image of what is suspected to be an adapter charger for the anticipated Galaxy S10. At first glance, the image might not reveal much, but a close look will show information on it; indicating that it supports 12V/2.1A charge capacity, and an additional 9V and 5V charging as well. The charger which is termed as ‘TA300’ will support fast charging at a whopping 25.2W.
With a 25.2W charger, the upcoming Galaxy S10 will charge at a faster pace than ever experienced before. Analysts in the tech industry are predicting that the 25.2W charging power will be the next number one charger; right after the previous 15W chargers.
The leaked renders were first reported earlier this month, which came alongside a report from a legendary leaker, who posted on Twitter about the Galaxy S10.
“Excellent battery optimization and a more advanced cooling structure,” Ice Universe claims.
The leaks were linked with reports that the Galaxy S10 tier will come with batteries that could house up to 4000mAh capacity; meaning the device will likely have downright amazing battery functionalities.
While Samsung has been making a name for itself in battery performance, the company aims to continue their legacy with the Galaxy S10 tier. And giving an improved phone charger with huge battery perks could be a way of ensuring that.
However, we cannot confirm these claims about the 25-Watt, and before we get so much excited; the fact remains that the charger above is not yet confirmed to be authentic. Therefore, although the render (charger) might be shipping with the Galaxy S10, the image is allegedly faked.
