To turn it on, navigate to Settings=> Passwords and Accounts=> AutoFill Passwords to enable your iCloud Keychain. Once you’ve ensured your iCloud Keychain is turned on, you can follow this procedure to generate and save a strong password:

• Open Safari App, and navigate to the register page of any site of your preference – the one you want to register to.
• Input your details, such as your name, email, address, cell number and more.
• Now click on the Password And immediately you tap on it, iOS 12 will automatically prefill both your initial password and the second confirm password. Next, the keyboard will be overtaken by an options view.
• AT this stage, if you wish to use a Strong Password, then just click on the Use Strong Password And if you don’t prefer using the iOS 12 automatic password, then tap on Choose My Own Password button to enter your own.
• Right after you select Use Strong Password, follow the registration wizard. After you’re done with the sign-up process, both your username and password will be saved to your iCloud Keychain.

How to Find Passwords Generated By iOS 12

If you’ve registered a given account, there’s no repeating the process, since the login details will already be captured on your iCloud Keychain. However, how will you ensure that iOS 12 saved your login details? And if you want to login to your already registered account, how will you do it? Here’s how you can do it:

• Open the Settings app and navigate to Passwords and Accounts=> Website and App Passwords. Enter your passcode or Face ID to view your passwords.

Pro Tip: Optionally, you can ask Siri; “hey Siri? Show me my passwords” to directly open the passwords screen.

• On this page, you’ll have access to all website and app login details. Look through to find the login details for the website you’ve recently saved.
• To view the details (username and password), tap on the login. Here you’ll find both the username and password to your account.
• Now tap on either the username or password to either copy or share it with other Apple device via AirDrop. However, for the trick to work, the target device needs to support and run on iOS 12. Moreover, if it is a MacOS device, then it needs to support Mojave.

How to identify and change a reused password in iOS 12

Apple has adopted some of the top features, right from tools like 1 Password and LastPass to iCloud Keychain password manager.
